Thomas Slattery

Senior Corporate Counsel

Thomas Slattery is the Senior Legal Counsel at Blue Yonder Defense Solutions, where he is responsible for providing leadership on all legal and compliance matters. Slattery came to Blue Yonder Defense Solutions after nine years of private practice at Jones Walker LLP, where he helped public and private companies across industries manage their international supply chains and global operations.

In addition to advising on internal compliance programs, Slattery represented clients before federal agencies at the Departments of Treasury, Commerce, State and Homeland Security. He also advised companies across a range of governance matters, including director and officer liability, merger litigation, and shareholder lawsuits. Prior to that, he worked for an international non-profit in New York where he helped developing nations’ governments manage natural resources and provided training for international trade negotiations, anti-corruption enforcement and alternative dispute resolution.

Jordan has successfully executed leadership over resources and expertise across nation as a Corporate FSO and Security Advisor. Most recently, he was responsible for ‘33’ FCLs / cage codes and numerous subcontractors to implement Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) directives, resulting in commendable ratings during Security Vulnerability Assessments (SVAs). He also led the deployment of an enterprise-wide sensitive Information System equipment destruction plan returning millions of dollars in contract closure funding to Raytheon and the U.S. government.
